Nothing could possibly better express the excitement I feel with every incoming mail I receive than this Inge Löök card. You may be asking what’s Inge Look? The correct question word is WHO! Inge Look (Ingeborg Lievonen) is a Finland-based gardener and illustrator who’s know for her illustrations of her aunts.

I obtained this card from a swap with a Finnish member of the Postcrossing Facebook page. According to her, Inge Löök drew inspiration for her art from her childhood. Inge Löök lived in a seven-story building in Helsinki. She  was neighbors with two old, naughty ladies named Fifi and Ali, referred to as “the Aunties”, who would be the famous subjects of her illustrations.

Inge is currently living and working in Pernaja, Finland.

I hope to receive more of her illustrated cards showing the Aunties going on crazy adventures. There is so much positivity in her works and I need more of this.
